The Hitchhiker's Guide to Election Fraud

The publishers of the Lone Star Iconoclast, the Crawford, Texas newspaper that supported John Kerry (fielding several death threats from the party of values in the process), published an awesome editorial on election irregularities, entitled Ohio - Ground Zero. You really must read this one. It states:

"During the month of December, Ohio has become ground zero, where rests the survival of democracy as we know it, for this will be the test of whether America will stand for an election riddled with irregularities.

The test will determine if the true spirit of honest elections will continue to exist in America or if honesty, like respect and cooperation, has become a dinosaur."

Keith Olbermann writes late yesterday, regarding the Ohio Election Fraud Hearings:

“’If there are controversies,’ Professor Turley [constitutional expert, law professor of George Washington University] reminded me, ‘such as some disclosure that a state [such as Ohio] actually went for Kerry (instead of Bush), there is the ability of members of Congress to challenge. It requires a written objection from one House member and one senator.’

Once that objection is raised, the joint meeting of the two houses, convened to formally count the Electoral College votes and certify the winner of the presidential election, would be immediately discontinued. ‘Then both Houses separate again and they vote by majority vote as to whether to accept the slate of electoral votes from that state.’”

Given the makeup of the House, we know how this would most likely turn out. At the very least it would set a strong precedent on which to build reforms and voting integrity safeguards prior to the next election.

Please write Congressman Conyers to show your support for his bravery and patriotism in taking on this extremely important cause. I have personally called his office and expressed my support to one of his staffers. This type of encouragement is always welcome by elected officials. History will be kind to Congressman Conyers!

In other news, yesterday, a former California congressman (Dan Hamburg) was arrested for trespassing trying to deliver Conyer's 34 question letter about Ohio voting irregularities to Secretary of State Blackwell, and attempting to hold a press conference with him since Blackwell was a "no show" at the hearings taking place at the same time.

And in Washington State, the majority of counties started the hand recount today to decide the outcome of the Governor’s race, where the Republican Dino Rossi is ahead by only 42 votes out of 2.9 million counted; this after a second machine recount. Washington State law allows for a third and final hand recount that is being funded (full state) by the Democrats in support of Rossi’s opponent Christine Gregoire. The count is not expected to be complete until the end of the month or sometime next month, if previously rejected ballots are allowed into the mix. A Washington Supreme Court decision is pending the latter.

42! Is this the answer to galactic election fraud? Douglas Adams where are you? Carl Sagan said if God wanted to send us a message he would encode it in pi; or maybe in a book and an election differential? God? Are you out there?
